In a supporting body (4) there is a diagonal strut (15, 16) for bracing. A hollow-profile section acts as a a rectangular profiled section. The diagonal strut runs from an inner angle to a diagonally opposed inner angle on the supporting body. The diagonal strut also fits crosswise to the longitudinal axis (L) of the supporting body. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) A traveling mechanism with a main support and a traveling mechanism support; (2) A crane with a traveling mechanism.
