At least one of the revolving panels (11) is suspended from a support structure (5) in a suspension (7) situated on a vertical axis running through the center of gravity point of the panel, or symmetrical with the axis. The revolving panel is swivel mounted on the suspension's bearing axis and can be released in an emergency. The support structure is pivot mounted on a pivot axle (14) of the revolving door (1).
