The ball hub (1) has a central recess provided with an internal serration (2) to be created either by hot deformation or cold deformation using cross-flow pressing. The guiding paths (3) are processed in two steps by rough milling and finishing. The bearing surfaces (4) are created on a lathe. The chamfered areas (5) between the guiding paths and the bearing surfaces are formed simultaneously in the rough milling process. The front surface (6) is also processed using a non-chipping method.
