<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display control apparatus in which user friendliness is not degraded even if an operation mode is frequently changed. <P>SOLUTION: The display control apparatus comprises; a time clocking section 24 for clocking time when transferring to a power saving mode in which a power consumption amount is reduced, and time when returning back to the power saving mode; a RAM 3 for storing the time which is clocked; an image storing section 22 for storing an image data displayed just before transferring to the power saving mode; and a CPU 2 for displaying the image data which is stored when a period in the power saving mode is within a predetermined period. When the period in the power saving mode is short, it is determined to be continuously used by the same user, and the stored image data is displayed.
