<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute an image processing in a limited memory region in a VRAM regardless of the size of an image data. <P>SOLUTION: A division determining section obtains a whole size of temporary regions (Step S1). A variety of information is obtained from image display application as an argument (Step S2). It is determined whether each of the temporary regions a, b and c is used or not (Step S3). Then, a division height calculation means calculates height by which an image data is divided during division processing (Step S4). A spread rotating transfer controller controls an image processing section to perform rotating transfer, magnifying transfer and contracting transfer, on the image data (Step S5). Eventually, the image data is transferred to a front buffer and a corresponding image is displayed on a display device. The invention is applicable to all electronic equipment for displaying the image on the display device such as, for example, a television receiver with a function for displaying an image recorded in a semiconductor memory on a screen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
