<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display apparatus, evaluation method, and program capable of calculating a degree of recognition applied to contents displayed in interlocking with a television program by a user with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: When a WCDG 42h2 detects a type of contents of a Web image displayed in linking with the television program, a contents evaluation value determining section 42h3 reads a contents evaluation value depending on the detected type from a CETBL 42c1. When a WHCG 42h4 detects a size and a display position of the Web image, a Web image evaluation value determining section 42h6 calculates a Web image evaluation value on the basis of the detected size and the detected display position of the Web image.
