<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for a vehicle, which enables a door to be smoothly opened/closed in any direction through a series of operations by eliminating directivity from the handle operation of making a door locking mechanism activated for opening. <P>SOLUTION: This door handle device for the vehicle is equipped with a hand grip which is arranged on the out-of-vehicle side of the panel member of the door for the vehicle, which is gripped for opening/closing the door for the vehicle, and which is operated for opening, so as to make the door locking mechanism activated for opening. The hand grip is equipped with a hand grip body, and a movable member which is interposed between the hand grip body and the panel member in such a manner as to be capable of being brought into contact with/separated from the hand grip body. The hand grip makes the door locking mechanism activated for opening via a motion transfer mechanism on the basis of the motion of bringing the movable member closer to the hand grip body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
