POLYESTER FILM FOR CAPACITOR, METALLIZED POLYESTER FILM, CAPACITOR USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polyester film for capacitor, with reduced thermal deformation and margin deviation which may occur in metallizing film surface, also excellent in electrical properties and reliability as capacitor. SOLUTION: The polyester film for capacitor is such that the ratio (M/P) of the number of moles (M) of a catalytic metal compound in the constitutive polymer to that number (P) of a phosphorus compound is 0.5-2 and the film thickness is 0.5-3μm. The film is characterized by that the area of the intensity distribution for Fourier analysis in the wavelength region ranging from 0.1 to 0.4 m is less than 0.6 m in the thickness unevenness in the film's machine direction.
