PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve life performance by improving adhesiveness of grid-active material interfacial surfaces and by preventing early degradation of discharge capacity even in a heavy load and a light load, in a lead-acid battery reduced in antimony. SOLUTION: An expanded grid formed by expanding a rolled sheet 3 formed by arranging first coating layers 1 formed of a lead-tin-based alloy and second coating layers 2 formed of a lead-antimony-based alloy on one surface or each of both surfaces of a lead-calcium-based alloy layer is used as a positive electrode grid.
