PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adhesion of dust or a fingerprint onto a sensor unit, and to remove and easily convey the sensor unit by automatic mechanism by means of a machine. SOLUTION: This storage case 50 comprises a case body 51 and a lid 52. When the storage case 50 is set on a support plate 90 of a measuring machine 6, the case body 51 is moved relative with respect to the lid 52, and the internal sensor unit 12 is exposed. The sensor unit 12 on a pickup position is grasped by claws 106a, 106b of a handling head 106.
