PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin thermocouple having a fixed thickness over the whole even if it is a thin film type, and having thermocouple films formed into a protected form. SOLUTION: One side of filmlike base material 1 patterning one of the thermocouple films 3, and provided with a window 4 under the condition where an end part of the thermocouple film 3 is exposed is bonded with the other filmlike base material 2 patterning the other thermocouple film 5, and provided with a window 6 under the condition where an end part of the thermocouple film 5 is exposed, in a state where the thermocouple films 3, 5 are brought into an inner side and where the both windows 4, 6 are overlapped, and the end part of the one thermocouple film 3 is welded to the end part of the other thermocouple film 5, in portions of the windows 4, 6. A thickness of a junction portion is absorbed in the windows 4, 6, to be brought into the thin type and to make the thickness thin over the whole.
