AUXILIARY PRESSURE DEVICE FOR FEEDWATER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary pressure device for feedwater which prevents a drop in the suction pressure of a feedwater auxiliary pump caused by a narrow diameter of a water service pipe. SOLUTION: The auxiliary pressure device for feedwater has a preventing means 30 on the primary side of a back flow preventing section of the feedwater auxiliary pump 17 having a feedwater capacity larger than that of the water service pipe 1, for preventing a drop in the suction pressure during pumping operation which is carried out when water consumption is larger than a water discharge quantity of the feedwater auxiliary pump 17. Thus the drop in the suction pressure caused by constraints of application of the narrow service water pipe 1 can be avoided. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
