PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaporating a water-soluble insecticide enabling efficient evaporation of even a water-soluble insecticide liable to be decomposed with heat or having low vapor pressure, having high stability of the liquid, suppressing the increase of production cost and decreasing the odor, a method for spraying the insecticide, an ultrasonic atomization device, an aerosol spraying device, an insecticidal liquid and its composition. SOLUTION: An insecticidal liquid produced by dissolving a water-soluble insecticide in water is evaporated or sprayed by an ultrasonic atomization device or an aerosol spraying device. The median of the particle diameters of the evaporated or sprayed insecticidal liquid is adjusted to 3-8μm. The ultrasonic atomization device to be used in the evaporation method is provided with a vessel 1 holding the insecticidal liquid 2, a liquid sucking wick 3 protruding its upper part from the upper opening of the vessel 1 and immersing its lower part in the insecticidal liquid 2 in the vessel 1, and an ultrasonic transducer 5 placed in contact with or close to the upper end of the liquid sucking wick 3.
