Motor vehicle roof has a roof surface (4) firmly connected with the body of the motor vehicle. The cover (3) is set from its closing position to a ventilation position with its rear edge upwards. A draft deflector (2) is arranged in the front range of the roof opening, which in front of the closed cover in its closing position. The draft deflector covers the front area of the roof opening and can be set from the closing position. An INDEPENDENT CLIAM is also included for the motor vehicle.
