<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine in which an area where the detection of troubles is performed by compensating for the dispersion of intake pipe pressure resulting from various causes and the troubles of an EGR system is determined with high reliability by preventing the erroneous detection. <P>SOLUTION: This control device of the internal combustion engine comprises a means S101 determining that a vehicle is in a decelerating state, means S102, S104 forcibly opening/closing the EGR valve, a trouble determination means S307 determining the trouble of an EGR control device by comparing a pressure variation index value ΔPF based on the intake pipe pressure when the EGR valve is forcibly opened/closed with a trouble determination value PFAIL (NexON), and means S303, S33A regulating the intake pipe pressure in a predetermined state before forcibly opening/closing the EGR valve. Consequently, the dispersion of the intake pipe pressure is compensated for, and the trouble determination is performed in such a state that the intake pipe pressure is brought into a predetermined characteristic against the rotational speed Ne of the engine at all times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
