<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of efficiently illuminating a liquid crystal panel for each color while reducing the number of components. <P>SOLUTION: A condenser lens 43b and a condenser lens 43g are the same components, and have an effect to reduce manufacture cost by making the components common. On the other hand, the condenser lens 43b is arranged comparatively proximately to the liquid crystal panel 61b, and the condenser lens 43g is arranged comparatively separately from the liquid crystal panel 61g.
