<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater capable of discharging into the atmosphere only atomized drain with small atomization particle diameters. <P>SOLUTION: In the water heater 1, of drain jetted from a nozzle 22 like a mist, only those with small atomization particle diameters are sucked into a venturi 47 of an exhaust hood 28 via a drain cylinder 25, and they can be discharged into the atmosphere from an exhaust outlet 29 in a flow of combustion exhaust air. Those with large atomization particle diameters are dropped into a drain tank 17 from a drain suction opening 26 without being sucked into the venturi 47. Drain adhered to an inner wall of the drain cylinder 25 collides with the inner wall of the drain cylinder 25, flows down, and drops into the drain tank 17 from the drain suction opening 26. Since the recovered drain in the drain tank 17 is sucked up by a drain pump 20 and jetted out from the nozzle 22 again, discharge efficiency of the drain can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
