<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately decide the preference scores of a user for content, and to easily decide content scores for every section of content. <P>SOLUTION: A content preference score determination method includes the steps of detecting the body motion of a user during the playback of a musical piece, and detecting a feature point or feature value such as the beat timing of the musical piece from the accessory information or music data of the musical piece, and calculating the preference score of the user for the musical piece. The calculated preference score is integrated into numerics, and recorded so as to be associated with the musical piece, and set for the musical piece.
