PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that a receiving system clears a code number just once, based on the control information sent by a broadcasting apparatus. SOLUTION: When the receiving system 5 is made to execute prescribed processing, a center station 1 increments a command code value with any value between 0 and 254 by "1" and transmits it. The receiver system 5 also stores the holding code of any value between 0 and 254, and compares the command code transmitted with the holding code, to determine if the command code has already been executed. When it determines that the command code has not been executed yet (or the values of the command code and the holding code are different), it performs a processing corresponding to the command code, and updates the holding code value by the command code value.
