<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire which is improved in visibility of a predetermined pattern, regardless of the angle of light impinging on a display area. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire 1 has the display area 11 of an annular band wherein the predetermined pattern 7 and a plurality of adjacent ridges 9 around the predetermined pattern 7 are formed, in a side wall portion 5. The predetermined pattern 7 is formed to be higher than the ridges 9. The plurality of ridges 9 are formed about a tire rotating shaft RS and two or more eccentric points P provided at different places from the predetermined pattern 7.
