<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can reduce a load to reproduce a movie while maintaining the resolution and interestingness of a performance display. <P>SOLUTION: A movie reproduction area 502 is allocated to a part of the display screen 501 of a decorative pattern display device, namely the upper left portion. Movie reproduction areas 503 to 505 are likewise allocated to the upper right portion, the lower right portion and the lower left portion of the display screen 501, respectively.
