PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye laser sufficiently high in the light emitting amount of laser and sufficiently long in the life thereof. SOLUTION: The dye laser is provided with a dye laser element containing a light emitting material consisting of the polymer of organic silicate compound shown by a general formula (1), a light source for exciting, and a resonator. In the formula, X shows an organic molecule showing fluorescence or phosphorescence; R<SP>1</SP>shows at least one selected from the groups consisting of low-grade alkoxy group, hydroxyl group, allyl group, ester group, and halogen atom; R<SP>2</SP>shows at least one selected from the low-grade alkyl group, and hydrogen atom; n shows an integer of 1-3; and m shows an integer of 1-4.
