PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a manuscript sheet to be set properly in the prescribed place while a separated transporting mechanism is covered sufficiently. SOLUTION: A manuscript insert hole 25 has an end side opening part A and a central opening part B, the former being larger than the latter. This prevents the manuscript and its insert hole 25 from interfering with each other even in the condition that the manuscript is deflected in a bow shape. As the central opening part B mating with the part where the separated transporting mechanism 15 is installed, is smaller than the end side opening part B, the separated transporting mechanism 15 is sufficiently covered. Accordingly the manuscript is set in the prescribed location properly while the separated transporting mechanism 15 is covered sufficiently. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
