PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoop material supply device which suitably holds the tension of a hoop material even when the pull-out/push-back amount or speed of the hoop material is greater or higher. SOLUTION: The hoop material supply device 10 comprises: a forward/backward moving mechanism 40 for moving a chuck portion 42 which chucks a copper wire L uncoiled from an uncoiler 11, forward in the direction of pull-out of the copper wire L and for moving it backward in the direction of feedback of the copper wire L; and a movable pulley 31 which the copper wire L set in a section ranging from the uncoiler 11 to a most backward position A of the chuck portion 42, is wrapped around, and which is reciprocatingly arranged in the section on the side of elongating the bridge length of the copper wire L and on the side of contracting it. The hoop material supply device 10 also has a wire WR as a member separate from the copper wire L, via which the movable pulley 31 is connected to a supporting column 46 which is moved integrally with the chuck portion 42 with the forward/backward movement of the forward/backward moving mechanism 40.
