PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine nozzle segment inspecting method comprising the step of arranging the turbine nozzle segment on a base (112) of a tool (110) in a state where an outer side front surface (14) and an inner side front surface (24) of the turbine nozzle segment are place in contact with the surface (116) of the base. SOLUTION: An outer wall (12) is arranged between an outer stand (132) of a first pedestal of the tool and an outer stand (152) of a second pedestal of the tool. An inner wall (22) is arranged between an inner stand (132) of the first pedestal of the tool and an inner stand (162) of the second pedestal of the tool. At least one of the location, depth and width of seal grooves (40, 50) formed within side edges (42, 44, 52, 54) of the outer wall and/or the inner wall is measured. At least one dimension in the axial direction is measured on the turbine nozzle segment, and at least one dimension in the radial direction is measured on the turbine nozzle segment.
