Alkyl aryl alkyl alcohols, their derivations and preparation process thereof represented by formula (I) are disclosed, C<SUB>m</SUB>H<SUB>2m+1</SUB>-Ar-C<SUB>n</SUB>H<SUB>2n</SUB>-Q (I) in which, m ,n, Ar and Q are defined as claim 1. The said process comprises the following steps: reacting compound of formula (II) C<SUB>m</SUB>H<SUB>2m+1</SUB>-Ar and compound of formula (III) C<SUB>n</SUB>H<SUB>2n 1</SUB>-X<SUB>2</SUB>, and then hydrolyzing to obtain the end product. Such compounds have good fluidity under ambient temperature and characters such as high fatty alcohol, and may be applied in various fields substituting for high fatty alcohol. |
