Disclosed is a fuel cell which is improved in the degree of freedom in arrangement of a channel to be connected with an electrolyte member. A fuel cell (1) comprises a base (2) composed of a laminate obtained by arranging a plurality of insulating layers (3) in layers, a fuel channel (17) formed by connecting grooves provided in the different insulating layers (3) with one another, and an electrolyte member (21) so arranged as to be in contact with a part of the fuel channel (17).
