The device has a rolling path for reshaping a flat raw material blank into a rolled profile and also has a machining unit to join the rolled profile to a further component. A connecting station is mounted at a position in the rolling path where the reshaping process of the flat material into a no longer accessible cross-section has not yet been completed so that the area of the rolled profile which will later be inaccessible is still accessible for the machining joining unit. Independent claim describes method for manufacturing installation-ready component where the rolled profile is machined at an accessible area which will later be reshaped into an area inaccessible for further machining.
