<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft coupling which highly concentrically retains an inner sleeve and outer sleeve with respect to a supporting shaft by improving workability through installation of machine parts in the supporting shaft by simple and quick operation, and by eliminating the need for a rotation preventing means by preventing large torsional torque from being imposed on the supporting shaft. <P>SOLUTION: A nut member 6 is rotated in a predetermined direction through a teeth part 6a in accordance with the rotating operation of a fastening bolt 7. The inner sleeve 5 is pulled inside the outer sleeve 4 to produce wedging action through the screwing displacement along a male screw part 5b. The outer sleeve 4 is fastened to be fitted in a supporting shaft 2 together with the inner sleeve 5. By so doing, machine parts 3 are mounted in the supporting shaft 2 by a simple and quick operation so as to improve the workability. Since the fastening bolt 7 meshes with the teeth part 6a of the nut member 6, the nut member 6 is prevented from being loosened after the completion of the fastening.
