METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING CLOCK SKEW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve the problem that clock skew may increase to cause malfunction of an apparatus or the like when a clock signal is propagated through a plurality of paths.

SOLUTION: A clock source 402 being a signal generator provides a first signal having a first frequency. A clock tree 404 propagates the first signal to at least one clock mesh 406 of the apparatus. A second final-stage buffer 418 receives the first signal and provides a second signal having a second frequency and synchronizes the second signal with the first signal and propagates the synchronized second signal to at least one other clock mesh 416 of the apparatus.
