摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body (belt) which is prevented from the occurrence of winkles at the time of high speed operation and enhanced in the durability against its edge surface tearing and buckling. SOLUTION: The tubular body has a base material made of a polyimide resin and is characterized in that the thickness of the edge parts of the tubular body is 105% or above of the thickness of the central part thereof. Further, the manufacturing method of the tubular body is constituted by coating the inner surface of the mold with a resin solution and drying and imidating the coating layer of the resin solution and includes a process for coating the inner surface of the mold set so that the inner diameter of the edge part of its opening part is made larger than that of its central part and moving a traveling body through the mold to form a coating film wherein the thickness of both edge parts of the tubular body is larger than the thickness of its central part.
