PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development facilitating low temperature fixing, having sufficient hardness and charging property, and satisfactory toner fluidity, transfer property and cleaning property for a long period of time; and to provide a method for manufacturing the toner, and an electrostatic charge image developer and an image forming method using the toner for electrostatic charge image development. SOLUTION: The toner for electrostatic charge image development has a core/shell structure having a shell layer on the surface of a core particle and is characterized in that the core particle contains a crystalline resin and an amorphous resin as a binder resin and that the shell layer contains an amorphous resin containing a modified silicone oil.
