PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetostrictive torque sensor capable of reducing temperature drift. SOLUTION: A detection coil for detecting torque applied to a rotating shaft 2 is a coil assembly for forming a bridge circuit 300, and has a pair of coils 3a, 4a tilted at +45°with respect to the center axis O and a pair of coils 3b, 4b tilted at -45°with respect to the center axis. The coil 3a is arranged on the magnetic core side of a semicylindrical ferrite magnetic core 100, and the coil 4b is arranged on the rotating shaft side, respectively. The coil 3b is arranged on the magnetic core side of a semi-circular domain on the other side of a semicylindrical ferrite magnetic core 200, and the coil 4a is arranged on the rotating shaft side, respectively.
