摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid measuring apparatus capable of especially widening a velocity dynamic range by a simple technique in fluid measurement by PIV. SOLUTION: The fluid measuring apparatus includes both an imaging device for generating a picked-up image p1; a picked-up image p2 having a time interval ofΔt with p1; a picked-up image p3 having a time interval ofΔT with p1 larger thanΔt; and a picked-up image p4 havingΔt with p3 and an analytical device for determining the flow velocity of a fluid on the basis of p1, p2, p3, and p4. The amount of displacement of particles is computed through the use of both a short-period correlation function generated on the basis of at least either a first correlation function computed on the basis of p1 and p2 and a second correlation function computed on the basis of p3 and p4 and a long-period correlation function generated on the basis of at least either a third correlation function computed on the basis of p1 and p3 and a fourth correlation function computed on the basis of p2 and p4 to determine the flow velocity of the fluid.
