PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for fixing a connection pin of a chain, which surely attains locking performance without the need for special processing. SOLUTION: In the method for fixing the connection pin of the chain, a pin hole 122 having a shape other than a round shape in which the connection pin 110 is inserted is made in an outer plate 120. After the connection pin is inserted in the pin hole, the top of the connection pin projected from the pin hole is caulked, and the gap formed between the connection pin and the pin hole is narrowed to solves the problem.
