PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new remedy capable of producing an excellent treating effect on fibrotic disease, without causing an adverse effect. SOLUTION: A composition for treating the fibrotic disease contains endostatin in a pharmaceutically effective amount, wherein pulmonary fibrosis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, hepatic fibrosis, nephrosclerosis, pancreatic fibrosis, or multiple sclerosis is treated as the fibrotic disease.
