PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air mattress from which the buttocks hardly slip down even if taking a posture of sitting straight for leaving the mattress by making a side surface part have a rectangular cross section when charging the air mattress with air. SOLUTION: In the air mattress obtained by connecting the ends of front and rear sheets, a member 8 for a side surface obtained by connecting the respectively one side end side of two sheets 8a and 8b for the side surface and arranging the side of the connection part 8c facing inside is interposed between the side end parts of the front and rear sheets 2a and 2b and connected.
