PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of precisely and inexpensively positioning a collimator and a detecting element, and a method of manufacturing the X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus is characterized by having the detecting element with a groove, a reflection material with the function as an adhesive injected into the groove, and a collimator plate inserted into the groove. The method of manufacturing the X-ray CT apparatus is characterized by a process of forming the groove in the detecting element, a process of injecting the reflection material with the function as the adhesive into the groove, and a process of inserting the collimator plate into the groove.
