<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell stack capable of effectively restraining corrosion of separators. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The fuel cell stack is provided with separators 18, and a sacrifice member 40 more prone to corrosion than a surface material of the separator 18, and the sacrifice member 40 is fitted in contact with a cooling medium flowing inside the stack 23. (2) The sacrifice member 40 is conducted with the separator 18. (3) The sacrifice member 40 is made of a material more prone to corrosion than the surface material of the separator 18 under conditions where power generating voltage is generated between the separators 18.
