<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To preclude unnecessary occurrence of a confining accident originating solely from failure in a braking motion sensing means. <P>SOLUTION: When a brake release command is emitted from an elevator operation control means 7 to a braking power supplying means 10, the electric power from a braking power supply 9 is supplied to a brake device 8. Even if the sensing signal of the braking motion sensing means 13 exhibits failure, it concerns failure in the braking motion sensing means 13 as long as the sensing signals of a braking power supply sensing means 11 and a braking voltage sensing means 12 remain normal, and the normal operation is allowed to continue upon discriminating that the brake device itself 8 is functioning normally. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
