<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver in which a substrate can be fixed to the case body through a simple operation and in which no optical fiber is damaged in the mounting or removing operation of the substrate with respect to the case body. <P>SOLUTION: In the engaging means of the optical receiver, a locking member 95 makes two locking parts 94 project with a space apart from the wall of the case body 3, while an engaging member 85 makes the cross section of the entirety U-shaped. The base is connected to the substrate, with the free end provided with a knob 86, and with a curved part 87 provided between the base and the knob 86. The elasticity of the curved part 87 is such that, in the normal state, a portion between the base and the counter part is wider than between the base and the wall in the mounted state and that, in the mounting process, the wide part deflects toward the base by being pushed by the locking part. After the wide part passing the locking part, the elasticity causes the counter part to enter the space to impinge on the wall and, in the engaged state, the wide part and the locking part are designed to be locked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
