PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolytic solution battery having excellent discharge characteristics at a low temperature though graphite fluoride is used for a positive electrode. SOLUTION: This non-aqueous electrolyte solution battery comprises a negative electrode comprising light metals as active material, and a positive electrode comprising graphite fluoride as active material. In the battery, the graphite fluoride comprises fluorinated carbon represented by the formula (CFx)n (0.40≤x≤0.90), and unfluorinated carbon, and the unfluorinated carbon is coated with the graphite fluoride but exposed on at least a part of the surface of the graphite fluoride.
