PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a socket for a vacuum tube which can secure a stable operation of a vacuum tube. SOLUTION: A socket for a vacuum tube is provided with a socket main body 21 which has a predetermined thickness from a vacuum tube inserting face through a bottom face and is made of an electric insulating material through which each through-hole is made corresponding to each fixing position of a terminal pin of the vacuum tube, and a conductive contact piece 22 to be inserted into each through-hole. The conductive contact piece 22 is composed of a bottomed cylindrical part, into one end of which the terminal pin of the vacuum tube can be inserted and which has a longer length than a thickness of the socket main body 21.
