PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheathed heater with high reliability hardly generating gap corrosion, by avoiding micro gaps at a welding part of a metal pipe and a burring part of a flange stuffed with vapor. SOLUTION: The sheathed heater is provided with a metal pipe 1 having a heating wire built-in, a flange 2 with the metal pipe inserted into its burring part 6, and a welding part 11 welding and jointing the metal pipe and a tip part 6a of the conical burring part of the flange.
