PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater with a pitch interval narrowed between carbon wires (heating elements) and capable of carrying out more uniform heating, in one having the carbon-wire heating elements sealed in a glass tube formed in a zigzag shape. SOLUTION: First bent parts 2a to 2e of the zigzag-shaped glass tube 2 extended from one terminal part 3b are formed on the same plane as first linear parts 2A1, and second bent parts 2h to 2l of the zigzag-shaped glass tube extended from the other terminal part 3a are formed downward aslant form the second linear parts 2A2, the first bent parts 2a to 2e positioned further outside than the second bent parts 2h to 2l, and the first linear parts 2A1 positioned between the second linear parts 2A2.
