PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaust gases from being blown from an expansion chamber on the upstream side to an expansion chamber on the downstream side and the outer surface of an exhaust muffler from being heated. SOLUTION: This exhaust muffler comprises an exhaust pipe 25 extending from the exhaust port 23 of an engine 7, a porous tube-like inner pipe member 29 connected to the rear of the exhaust pipe 25, an outer pipe member 30 installed on the outer periphery of the inner pipe member 29 through muffling spaces 61, 62, partition members 37, 38 axially partitioning the inner space of the inner tube member 29 to demarcate a plurality of expansion chambers 41, 42, 43, communication pipes 55, 56 holding passed through the partition members 37, 38 and allowing the expansion chambers 41, 42, 43 to sequentially communicate with each other, a discharge pipe 57 allowing the expansion chamber 42 at the lowermost part to communicate with the outside, a partition wall member 60 installed between the inner pipe member 29 and the outer pipe member 30, disposed axially offset from the partition member 37, and axially demarcating the muffling spaces 61, 62, and muffling members 63, 64 installed in the muffling spaces 61. 62.
