<p>Apparatus for quick screening for vaginal moisture pH level as related to a preselected pH level, comprising a manipulable element including a probe insertible into the vagina, at least one pH indicator on the element, the indicator characterized as producing a color which corresponds to pH level of vaginal moisture contacting the indicator, and a local comparison zone on the element having a color corresponding to a predetermined pH level, and positioned and shaped for quick color comparison with the color of the indicator after indicator contact with vaginal moisture. A test site for vaginosis may also be located on the probe, in non-interfering relation with said indicator and/or said zone.</p> |
