<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform return by detecting the level of sound, instead of performing return by recognizing audio, in returning from an electric power saving mode. <P>SOLUTION: The device has: an electric power saving mode shift means making it possible to shift to the electric power saving mode in which power consumption is smaller than that during standby for performing a normal operation; a sound detection means detecting whether the sound is inputted or not, when shifting to the electric power saving mode is performed by the electric power saving mode shift means; and a shift means for shifting from the electric power saving mode to a standby mode when the sound is detected by the sound detection means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
