<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of acquiring pay information from a prescribed device without requiring personal information, and a method therefor. <P>SOLUTION: A screen of headlines of articles provided from an information providing server 100 is displayed on a client PC 210. When a user operates the client PC 210 to select an article to be purchased, the information providing server 100 requires paper information to a printer 200 connected to the client PC 210. The printer 200 reads the paper information from an IC tag attached to a printing paper sheet by utilizing an IC tag reader/writer to respond to the information server 100 via the client PC 210. After the information providing server 100 confirms the paper information, it transmits data of the selected article to the client PC 210, and then the article is printed on the printing paper sheet by the printer 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
