PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique or a device for measuring the input threshold levels of test objects, without requiring synchronization with the signals applied to test objects. SOLUTION: Signals containing at least one set of the pairs consisting of two slopes of a known temporal positional relation but different gradients are applied to a test object, a time interval is measured between the transition of a specified logical level that has occurred in the output signals of the test object in response to the slope contained in the application signals, and finally, the measurement results are used to obtain the input threshold level of the test object.
